Srh 44mag scope.

I was thinking about taking my 26 burris scope off my SRH 44mag 9.5in barrel and replacing with a reddot. Any choices on which one and or should I stay with the scope. I'm using it right now for deer hunting but I have no problems with using the scope I'm quite accurate with it out to 50-60 yds off hand give or take if I'm walking or sitting and I do use a primo shooting stick walking but my usual is shooting out about 25-30 yds from my blind or (My brother likes to call it the AKA Snack Shack LOL). So what would be some good suggestions from the good folk here at the forum leave it on or try a reddot. Thanks

My SRH is scoped with a Bushnell 2-6x scope. But, my Super Blackhawk.....which was my "short range" hunting handgun wears a Burris Fastfire 3. The SBH was used with just the iron sights, but over the years it's been getting harder and harder to see the front sight, hence the Burris.

I normally use the SBH for thick cover, short range (50 yards or so). I have shot it at the range with the Burris out to 100 yards and I would take the shot on a deer if presented.

Thanks Steve : So you really like that burris do you. But You just gave me a heck of an idea to maybe. Let me run this by you. How about I put that burris on my 6in gp100 and use that for short range out in the woods and the SRH for the long run. Thanks

By the way that is a very nice SBH.
