Cool New to LD

Finally decided it was time to put a good LD rig together, so you know, it's great getting that energy and passion back that fades over the years. Settled on the RPR in 6mm creedmoor, just a beautiful rifle. What's the best glass for 1000+? Looking to keep the budget to no more than 700-ish if it's possible. Not hoping to compete, just want to ring the bell at 1000. Because I can.

If you search the web you can pick up a Vortex Viper 6x24-50 for under $700. That’ll get ya out to 1000. The “6” is a good round, a heavy bullet will help at that distance.

Yes, I researched the Vortex HS-T 6-24x50 for a while before I bought one. Great scope, there are quite a few video reviews that are 100% positive.
Around $600 is a good sale price.

The best price I’ve seen recently Randy is $639, that’s still not bad.

Not bragging, just luck, but exactly a year ago I got a 10% off coupon from OpticsPlanet at the same time that Dvor (part of OP) had the scope on sale for $500, so mine was $450. Right place, right time.
I've not seen Dvor or anyone else sell that scope that cheap since. I should have bought 3.

I love the scope and it is on many lists as a very good "budget" option for 1000yd shooters.

Amazing timing, but I just got an email this morning from Dvor with a number of Vortex scopes at great prices.

you'll get more interest in the Hawke at its real price. You meant $449.99.

It does get some good reviews. On the fence at the moment between that and the Nikon FX1000

It is amazing, I've considered buying another and everywhere else I checked is at least $639.
At that price I think it's a great scope and possibly the best for the money.

But you have exactly 24 hours left on the sale.
