Hi guys & gals. Fellow gun lover here. Saw this site from the other Ruger forum. Thought it looked interesting. I am a 49 yr. old temp. dis-abled firefighter from Maryland.Life member of the NRA. Love all the shooting sports and own a few guns, not as many as I want but I still have hope,
My rugers are a PD-90 45 ca. and a Ruger Bisley SA 44 mag. Love them both and shoot as often as possible.
Look forward to getting to know everyone.
Welcome aboard xploded, this site is just taking off, which isn't a bad thing. Do you travel to any of Cowboy Action Shooting/Single Action Shooting Society matches, since I noticed that you have a Single Action revolver in 44mag?
Xploded, welcome aboard, hope all is well with you, maybe just "ate a bit too much smoke". As a former firefighter, I sure did. Never could pay attention to the Scott Pacs "timing", seemed I ALWAYS 'ran out' of air, but was always 'out in time'.
seriously there is FAR too much to happen to you at any given time and folks haven't a clue how dangerous it really is. My comments above were in a "bit of humor",
Anyway, a speedy recovery to you and glad to have you here!
You firemen have big cojones!!!!!I was a big bad Marine and a cop-but I quiver at the thought of going in a building on fire--I've taught my 5 kids to hug a fireman if they could get close to him-and they always did-my hat is off to all firefighters.
