New guy?

Still learning these darn computer boxes since I retired a little over 3 years ago.
Look like a pretty nice set up and I already know a few of you.

If I can be of any help and set back and enjoy the ride, would make life easy!
The 'site' looks really nice and seems "fast" to me, hope that means something.................(took over 2 years to go from 'dial up' to 'cable')

Finally get use my 'rugerguy' spelled out too after all these years! Thats what they call me at the gunshows for over 30 years now.

rugerguy, glad to have you here! I'm the same way, I was to stuborn to switch from dial-up to cable. About a month ago, I finally decided to make the switch and now I don't have to worry about playing spider solitare while I wait for the page to load. Technology is great!

Thanks RN, I am impressed by your computer savy and hope maybe a little will rub off and I could "learn" more. My youngest son Nick, almost wants to "show me" but he tells folks he doesn't want to "unleash me on the world", so he upped and got married and moved out!........but I keep struggling along.
Thanks for the 'welcome'

Dan,
If you get "stuck" just holler at me and I'll help if I can... provided you can still get here and post. The computers have come a long way, and are becoming easier to use everyday. I like to think of them as a tool... it can be used to do "good"... or "evil". It's an extension of the person using it. Just like a firearm. and I do believe in the 2a ammendment... "The right to carry and bare information".
