Hello all. New Ruger owner here, but not a new firearms owner by any means.
I picked up a new SR1911 just last week, but still haven't been to the range to give it a try. I had shot a few mags through SR1911's at ranges, and was amazed at how it felt in my hand and how I could actually put together a better grouping with it than I could with my 9mm.
Since I have wanted a 1911 for some time, the SR1911 is the one for me.
There looks to be a lot of good information here. I hope to learn a bit and hopefully contribute as well.
