Thank you TnTut, the Mil Pros are fantastic little pistols. I've
been thinking of a PT-111 or a PT-145 at some point, but other guns have nudged those down the list of 'must have' buys. Have you had yours for long?

deputy125, you're very welcome. I appreciate the friendliness on this board and on the Taurus forum too. I wish there were more like them on the 'net.

Hey Taurus I bought it back in June of last year. It has been good until about a month ago I started have a failure to feed problem but that turned out to be dirty mags. I cleaned them and haven't had a problem since.

TnTut, I'm glad to hear you've not had any problems since then. I read on a thread elsewhere on another board, not even sure what forum it was on now, but someone else who had that same problem, cleaned their mags out thoroughly and then had no problems afterwards. I've been lucky enough never to have any problems out of any of mine, knock on wood, but you never know when they could act up.

Thank you B. Roberts and Bullseye, it's good to be here.

Welcome, glad to see another Kentuckian here. I live on the other side of Louisville in Lyndon near St Matthews. I worked in Rubber town before retiring maybe with some of your neighbors.

Thank you btrumanj. I know the area you're in to a degree but not as familiar with it as some of the other parts of the city. I have been to the Mall St. Matthews a few times, though generally it's when I've been showing around friends or family around from out of town.

Welcome Mr. Taurus, Glad to have you with us. Appreciate the links to the Taurus Forum, I'm been reading up on the PT1911 and the Judge. Was looking at a 24/7 - may get a Taurus if the opportunity and money coincide some day. Right now got too many Rugers still on the want list!

Thank you Jimbo1096 and you're more than welcome regarding the links. I know exactly what you mean. When I buy a new firearm it's either almost always a new Taurus or Ruger -- I have to force myself to buy anything else because both companies have so many firearms I enjoy. My two favorites from both companies at the moment are the 22/45 from Ruger and the PT1911 from Taurus.
