New to the forum

Hi All !

I just signed up for this forum, but I don't have any Rugers yet.

I've done some reading on the net, and I'm leaning towards a GP-100 for my first handgun.

I'm curious to hear what all the GP-100 owners on this forum have to say about this particular weapon.

I'm in CA, east SF bay area, and I'm also wondering if any one here shoots at Chabot Gun Club; maybe I'll see some of you there.

Welcome from KY! I have a GP100, and I think that it is just about the perfect gun for a first handgun. You can shoot .38s in it to practice and get good at shooting it, then full blown .357s. The GP is a quality gun, one of the best .357s on the market, and you will not be disappointed with it.

Welcome from Alabama. The GP100 would be an excellent choice and will last a life time.

pseudophil...Greetings from SE South Dakota...Welcome to the forum...I agree with gunman, REB, and ratgunner...the GP is an excellent first gun, can shoot .38s and .357s and will last a life time. Go for it; you'll like it!
