hi everyone new to this forum and just getting back into shooting, and need to teach the 10 year old daughter, teaching her on a 10/22, that will be handed down to her, and a 5906 s&w, (when older), with plans for a mkIII hunter in the future, when the cash is gathered up.
Welcome aboard Steve. Glad you're here. Make yourself at home and enjoy the Board. The .22 is good for anybody to start with. I started my 8 yr old Grandson when he was about 6 with a Remington nylon 66, and later with a Ruger Bearcat. He can now out shoot me sometimes. He likes to draw a line about 10 foot in front of where I'm at so he will have an advantage.
WELCOME from SE South Dakota usa1 chevy! Great forum. I have a usa1 and a route 66 license plate in my family room along with a Ruger clock, two Coke clocks and 3 Corvette clocks. When the electricity goes out, the batteries work! I have had 11 Vettes. Love the USA1 stuff, Vettes and of course, Rugers. You will love this forum! I am a newbie too. Have a great day!
thanks for the welcome looks like this forum is going to be fun! and thanks and as you can tell that i am a chevy boy also. and to be fair to the others, i have owned a ford, a toyota, and a honda, but the boss in my book is a 57 chevy, and love to shoot if only i had more places, and as for the kid-o both her and the wife can out shoot me somedays, they have the knack for it, i know it is hard to admit(i am a man and can change if i have too[)])
Welcome usa1, I like those old cars too, though Mopars are favorite, anything from the 50s thru early 70s gets my attention. I even like the Corvair, and when a kid the Monza Spyder was very cool. Have a great stay here on the forum.
