Tight bore on S&W 617-0

I have owned this one for over a year. I just can't get it to group well. 25 yards, on a rest, with a simmons pistol scope my 10 shot average is 2''. Same set up with my Single Ten produces 1'' groups. CCI standard velocity. Finally gave it to my gun smith. All was well until he tried to bore sight it. His smallest rimfire bore scope would NOT go into the barrel. The scope rod is .215''. His estimate is my bore is .213''. Seems a might tight. I have easily put 500 rounds through it with no drama. As always, your completely biased opinions are welcome.

Dad45 will become famous soon enough
Well thatís a real bummer, they donít just give those away new or used. Maybe you could slug the bore to verify his findings?
Even though itís a ď0Ē I would at least call S&W and see what they say, after all as it is itís pretty much useless if the bore is in fact bad
