First & last Ruger bought

The GP-100 was the first Ruger I ever bought & the Wrangler was my last purchase, doubt itíll be the ďlastĒ but for now... Hopefully Iíll be shooting these later on in the day. Bought both holsters from Ruger. I love the one for the GP-100 & like the one for the Wrangler except for the release strap(I guess thatís what itís called). The GP one releases from the thumb while the Wrangler covers the finger guard. Iím not planning to shoot any cowboy action events so it really doesnít matter. The Wrangler is pretty much going to be a ďsnakeĒ gun when itís not on the range, just have to get used to releasing with my trigger finger. I shouldíve looked at it closer before I bought it, I assumed it released like my other holsterís; my Heritage rough rider releases from the thumb as well. I have 6 other Rugerís as well, all semi autos that Iíd like to shoot but there arenít enough hours for me to do so. Hope everyone has a blessed Memorial Day weekend!

My first was a 1983 Blackhawk in .357 mag. My last was just a couple months ago. A 2005 Vaquero in .40 S&W. In between those have been many. Not really sure how many because I can’t count that high and I don’t have enough fingers and toes to help out.

My first was either a Single Six or a Standard. I don't remember which one I got first but they were purchased around the same time in late '76 or early '77. My most recent (definitely not my last) was a Hawkeye African 9.3x62 I bought last week.

Nice! Is it one of the San Diego Sheriff versions or one of the handful of unmarked overruns? Either way, that's a great find. I'm officially jealous. Pics please?

My first was a Blackhawk in .357 in 1967. Foolishly I sold it a few years later.

The latest is an LC380 this past December.

Three rifles, a semi-auto and a revolver in between.

Bonk, not only is it one of the over runs, it’s also one of the first 25 or 30 to have the warning on the bottom of the barrel covered by the extraction rod housing. Sorry don’t have any pic of it at this time.

I'll get the pictures up later. My first Ruger was a Security Six, and the most recent was a GP100.

OP are you ambidextrous? Noticed the GP holster is right handed and the Wrangler left handed.

Have had so many rugers but I will never forget the first

1989 while in college in Durango Colorado I bought my first Ruger actually it was my first cartridge gun ever. As I came from the Iron Curtain of Illinois my town at that time growing up frowned on any gun ownership. All I had was a Sheridan Pellet rifle. My first Ruger was a side folding Mini, and I was a wonderful Coyote & prairie dog rifle. My last 2019 ruger was a Mark IV target and it has been fully modified and shoots like a dream. There have been many other rulers between those two but to this day I still regret trading that side folder in. I needed an elk rifle and ended up getting a ruger number 1 that kept me fed through the 90's.

No Iím not ambidextrous. The Wrangler is going to be my snake gun, on my left side. On my right side I always carry something for the ď2 leggedĒ snakes, usually my SR9c. I hardly carry the GP-100 but have a holster for when I do.
