This was a birthday gift from some most generous friends.
Over the last couple weeks I have added my favorite Magpul accessories, low profile gas block, UTG full length quad rail and Lucid HD7 Gen III red dot scope. My Streamlight TLR-1s is a nice addition too.
I am going to work the factory trigger over before spending big money on a trigger and not sure I will even after that.
The only guns I have money wrapped up into triggers are my bolt guns for long range accuracy and hunting.
I have never liked the cage style flash suppressor. Any ideas?

The before was pretty nice... the after is the shirts! :D

As far as the flash hider (I personally don't have any use for one) you can install a nut or a muzzle brake. I am partial to the Vias brakes as they are effective and don't punish everyone around you with super loud noise.

Just FYI I recently fitted mine with a very small red dot at 45° like your BUIS. Takes a bit of getting used to. Definitely not ''normal" to tilt your long arm that way, you know?

Thanks! Yes I am liking it very much. Finding ammo at a decent price is the killer now. My local gun store is still gouging customers on 5.56 ammo at $530 per 1k.
I thought it would be easier to keep my main sight being the red dot upright and use the BUIS at a 45 angle as I use the red dot most of the time. The angled BUIS were under $30 on Amazon. Even if I don't use them and go back to my flip up sights and co-witness with them through the scope I am not out hardly any money.
Although the Vais brakes are nice, I was only looking at spending $40-$60 on a brake.
I am not new to AR's but it has been fifteen years since owning the last one I had. They didn't have all the nice goodies they do now. And when in the Army, my arms room was stocked with M16A1's. It was sure nice to see them come out with the A2 rear sight after I got out. ;)

Pretty nice! I say keep the flash hider, there's really no need for anything else unless you want to shoot competition and then maybe a muzzle brake than reduces muzzle rise a little bit. I used to think stock triggers were just fine but then I needed a better trigger for accuracy in my 6.5 Grendel. I got a RRA 2-stage National Match trigger and, wow, what a difference. I was so impressed with the difference between the two that I'll be putting the same trigger in my Colt as soon as possible. I have been considering a Geissele although I'm not sure if they are that much better than RRA to justify the higher cost. Either way, all my AR's except maybe the Beowulf, will get upgraded triggers.

Here's my baby...a Colt LE6920 with a Troy rear buis, Trijicon ACOG w/RMR, Crimson Trace MVF laser/light combo vertical fore grip. Magpul special edition pink furniture.

You will never loose that gun. :)
Thanks, I will have to check out the RRA triggers. I know what you mean by justifying the higher cost. I have Timney triggers on my bolt guns and have shot guns with the more expensive Jewel triggers and I couldn't tell the difference. My factory .308 Tactical shoots just fine under 1/2 MOA with the less expensive Timney.

I used to shoot with nothing but iron sights on my old AR. And when I was in the Army there was no such thing as a Trijicon Acog.
However mounting a AN-PVS-4 to the carrying handle was the shizzle. ;)

Thanks for the link. That is much better looking than the cage style and the price is in my budget.

Sent you a lengthy PM. :)

If you have the cash go with a high dollar gun. If you don't, then any one of those you mentioned will work. Right now Bravo Company is completely sold out of complete rifles, so you will have to buy a complete lower and upper then put it together.
CMMG has some good guns too. There is also Palmetto State Armory. They turn out some very good guns and have great deals on uppers and lowers and parts kits if you want to put one together yourself.
One of my friends has a Windham AR and another friend has one from RRA. I can't tell the difference between the two other than the name.
If you have the tools and can build one yourself you will save a couple hundred dollars or more than buying a complete rifle. I have less than $100 in tools for putting them together. Doesn't take much. I'm going to build my next AR using PSA parts.

My Syrac Arms , 16 " barrel with Wilde chamber, Melonite treated, rifle length Midwest Gen II SS one piece hand guard over a low profile adj. gas block. YHM SC2 Phantom Hider/Comp. Stock is a Magpul ACS Lite in foliage green and a MOE + grip. Tango down Q.D. vertical grip. I am left handed, so I have a Rainer arms Raptor ambi charging handle, a J.P. ambi safety selector and a Norgon ambi mag catch. Trigger is a CMC. I love the pull but would get the curved trigger next time, the straight trigger is cool but not as comfortable. Scope is a Leupold Mark AR 1.5-4x with Fire dot SPR reticle, mounted with a Burris P.E.P.R. Q.D. mount. Mount is a little big and heavy so I might replace it with a Nikon or Leupold mount. I still need to get some BUIS, probably will go with Troy again. Gonna Cerrokote upper and lower in a tan or light brown, and still need to get a sling.

I have a PWS (Primary Weapons Systems) Triad flash suppressor, works great!
Triad Flash Suppressor, 1/2x28 threads, .223, retail packaging - PWS Muzzle Devices
