I probably have more fun at the range with these three than any other. They certainly have made me a more deliberate, patient, and accurate shooter.

Thank you sir. Yes they are. Pretty good fit for me actually and I am glad I discovered them. I'm old but patient, sore hands and very little recoil, like to spend time at the range and don't know how to reload. So these are a fairly cheap option to shoot. I actually enjoy the interaction required to fire these as well and I have a fairly enjoyable time out at the range.

Thank you sir. I initially started with nothing but Semi Auto 9mms last year but after getting a GP 100 22 mid part of this year it’s been nothing but SA Revolvers. I think I’ve really found my niche and find the whole process rather enjoyable. Now if only Hickok45 would remember to give me his range in his will. Now that would be some fun there. LOL

Too many people seem to think shooting is about how fast you can empty a magazine in the direction of a target 7yds away. The slow, deliberate loading and unloading process promotes marksmanship. I like that since I feel placing accurate hits on target at all ranges beats just cranking shots off quickly. Missing fast never won a gunfight.

The first of this year was my first visit to a range in decades. I’m retired military. So in the beginning it was no stress and just get them on paper. My eyes are getting worse anyway and this is just fun for me anyway. Anyway the last few months it’s been a visit once every week to the range and with the more deliberate shooting I’m starting to see some better results. Too bad it’s getting cold now but a few more visits this year and then next I want to work on getting a little better. Still it’s no stress but seeing more progress might be nice.

I do the majority of my shooting at an indoor range. I like to go on weekday mornings when it is usually just me and a bunch of other guys north of 55. I am referred to as the ''revolver guy''. On most days, out of 14 stations, I am the only one shooting a wheel gun. I get a lot of friendly abuse especially when I am ejecting spent rounds out of my Ruger SA's. Some take satisfaction in whipping through 4 magazines of .45 ACP to make a 6 inch hole, hand held, at 7 yards. I take a whole lot of satisfaction from the few times I manage to put ten rounds in a 1 inch circle at 20 yards from a bench rest, with a red dot, with my Single 10. Good times.

Wow! Very nice. I have a single ten on the way. Sold my single six a while back. Big mistake!!

Thank you sir.

Yeah good call on getting a Single Ten. I know for most that it might seem odd that after deciding to get a Single Ten over a Single Six that I would then get a Single Six. But all I can tell you is that I have actually found enjoyment when using both. Typically I pick three guns to fire when I go to the range and it’s 100 rounds a piece. I usually pick two revolvers and then it’s the Mark IV for the last 1000 rounds. Anyway I often choose.to fire the Single a Six then the Single Ten even though I have a GP 100 22. But anyway the difference between the Single Six and the Single Ten is fairly obvious. The Single Six slows me down even further.. I would say it’s made me an even more deliberate shooter.

Really glad I discovered the whole Single Action thing. I was explaining the process to a couple who was interested in getting into guns the other day. I was able to convince them how much sense it made to go the 22 route given they weren’t into self defense. However the first time when I spoke to them about Single Action and how those worked they recoiled. However later when I explained the process and how it made you a more deliberate shooter I got a bit more interest. But it’s funny because the whole paitience thing initially wasn’t’ even interesting to them. That was until the following discussion when I explained how spending just a bit more time and not being in a hurry can be rather enjoyable. Ah, the ignorance of those who always have to be in such a hurry.
