Anyone shoot the 2010 headstamp Armscor .38 Special?

I just bought 1,000 rounds of the Armscor .38 Special, 158 gr., and it is the first Armscor ammo I have seen with a year on the headstamp. I'm thinking maybe it's made for foreign and domestic LE and military export sales to Asia and Europe?

Anyway, I had some wierd results with this ammo, in my 4" GP100 which is proven accurate with other types. I would shoot 2 or 3 into a tight group at 15 yards and then one round would hit a few inches outside, and then the remaining rounds would hit to POA. This continued through the one 50 round box I fired today, I need to go back to the range this week and continue testing this ammo before I order more of it.

158 gr. FMJ ball is harder to find, and I wanted to make sure this batch of Armscor was any good.

I have good results with their .357 FMJ in the past, but I need to make sure it wasn't that I had too many energy drinks before I went to the range and was "jerking" some of the rounds out, or if some of this .38 is inconsistent in bullet size or powder charge, etc.

Isn't Armscor ammunition assembled in the Philippines?

It is from the Phillipines, I just got done blasting off 150 rounds or so of the 158 gr. FMJ just now. I would now adjust my rating of it to "strong mediocre", it seems to shoot really well out of my 6" GP100 but inconsistent out of my 4". If you can get the Armscor REALLY cheap it's good 15 yard training ammo, for point shooting, etc. Target ammo......it definitely is not.

I have a source to get the American Eagle 158 gr. LRN for $30 cheaper per 1,000 so needless to say I don't see much of a need to buy any more Armscor.
