Smithy!
Just joined today (3-26-14) and was searching the gunsmithing posts. Glad I did!
I replaced the main/trigger springs in my New Vacaro's. Did wonders for the action I was looking for. Guns came apart and went back together smoothly.
Today, I disassembled one Vacaro, removing the gripframe section. It was here I began having trouble removing the trigger pin. It appeared to be binding even though it went back in smoothly the first time I disassembled it. I'm afraid to try and force it out but I know it should come on out. What should I do to get this cantankerous piece out? I did order a vise from West Fargo (Wes Flowers) but have not attempted to remove the pin again. I reassembled the gun and everything works fine but I'm uncertain about the pin. What would you suggest, please?
Thanks for any help!
