Roger,
You responded to a question on whether a LC9s manual thumb safety could be removed back in Feb 2105 and you indicated you had removed your thumb safety and would report back with "range results". There doesn't appears to be any subsequent posts and the thread diverged from the topic.
I'm thinking about getting the thumb safety LC9s model but definitely would like to know if I can remove it should it get in the way. Consequently, what did you have to do to remove the thumb safety, did you have to add any parts, and what were your "results" ?
Looking at the manual exploded diagram, it appears the thumb safety is just attached to the end of the rod that holds the sear pin and removing the safety lever would transform the LC9s into the PRO model [as far as the thumb safety]. However, the manual exploded diagram isn't that detailed.
Thanks, any info will be helpful.
Tom
