Jim, I decided not to wait for the Sig P938 to come out and instead bought a P238 "Extreme" model. Picked it up last night and shot 47 rounds through it today. (3 rounds fell out of my bag in my trunk----d'oh.

No issues whatsoever. This gun is dated 5-2-12 so it's quite fresh off the line..lol

Love how easy taking it apart is. As long as the ejector is held down with a finger there's no worry there.

It fits in my pocket beautifully and even comes with a nice little paddle holster.

As far as .380 vs 9mm goes, we shot my 238 against my Colt Gold Cup and friends Springfield TRP at some various garbage we could find the .380 and 9mm penetrated and destroyed the glass bottles and clay targets we had out unlike the .45

I'm interested in your SR9C. Where are you located? Anywhere near Nashvillle? Is your handgun before or after recall?

    Thanks

I'm from Lancaster. I'm close enough to get to Greenville once a month or so to shoot IDPA with old friends. This is the closest I've been in years though.

It is a cool flag and represents a vibrant history. I have the same image (a palmetto and crescent moon)in a painting that I bought in Charleston, on the wall right behind me as I type this. I live in Northern New Mexico now, after having lived all over also. Abbeville , SC is my hometown.

    Hi Coonhound.

I live in Tennessee now, but I was born and raised in South Carolina. Still have an extended family there. I've lived all over, but I'm a Sandlapper at heart.

Plus I think it's a cool flag, great history in the symbols there.

Jim B I gotta ask. If you're from TN why are you flying the South Carolina flag. I'm from SC originally.
