Scott, I think I missed a message from you. Things are going well, I have been busier than shit; Just awarded a new Grandson, bought a new truck, got hired on by my main client, cat had 5 (count'em) 5 kittens, lost an old dog, gained a new dog and completed exactly 1,000,000 home repair projects. You?

Scott, I'm on my computer at work and am unable to find Pistol Talk, could you send me the link again?
    Thanks,
    Mike

The Securty-Six family of revolvers were discontinued over 20 years ago so parts are getting quite scarce. I would give Ruger a call ... they may still have them in stock. Jack First and Gun Parts, inc both sell used parts and may have them .... however they might not be any better than the one you have.

Thanks for the recommendation. I haven't handled one but have heard nothing but good things about them. So you own both the SR1911 and the Remington? If so which do you like better? Sorry it took so long to respond I haven't been on here in a few weeks.

I have business that takes me that way some times. I have a friend up there and she goes to UGA. I have one outdoor range that I go to and it is in Temple, about 30 min West of where I am. I am in Powder Springs just 15 West of Six Flags.

Hey, I couldn't figure out how to reply to your PM. I am in Athens, thanks for the welcome. You ever been around here? I am trying really hard to find a good place to shoot outdoors, but am stuck in a crappy indoor range for 8/half hour :(

You're near Powder Springs right? Is there a range near you? I went to Ga Firing Line in Marietta and the range is closed for a rebuild. Don't want to drive to Roswell just to shoot the .44

Jeremy told me that the guy wanted $799.00 for it. Good pick up on the Alaskan. I put $300.00 down on the SP101 today. Should have it next week. We need to go and shoot.

$449 for an SP101? sounds good. I think I paid a little more than that for mine a couple years ago.

all is well here. finally got the Alaskan .44mag. Was at Adventure Outdoors Monday, they had a demo SR1911. I noticed a guy there trying to sell his SR1911... He didn't accept their offer and he left the store before I could talk to him. Can't imagine why he would want to sell it, but I wanted to check it out and possibly buy it off him. But I'll order one soon...The guy behind the counter told me they are getting them quicker now.
