I would be hesitant about using a bi-pod on a #1 with the sling stud on the barrel. It could put undo pressure on the barrel and effect accuracy. I have a #1A and a Harris bi-pod, never put them together. Maybe OK?
My 1V's did not like a bipod. It changed the pressure point on the forearm changing the impact point on the target. Removed and went back to bag and everything went back to normal. Gave bipod away.
