Agree with above. I use the email system and always get some kind of reply. As to the throats..Agree also that while its been said that long throats are bad, aint neccessarily so. I went round and round with Ruger over a long throated 7x64 M77 one time. I bought it pre-owned at a gun show and discovered a throat deep enough to seat long bullets far enough out till they were hanging on by their toenails! Sent the gun in for inspection and was told it was "within spec"! Problem was they were using Euro specs and not SAAMI. Eventually I just gave up, lost the argument and shot the gun. And it shot very well, long throat or not with every weight of bullet. That experience cured me of worrying about throat length anymore. And my No 1 7x57 has a pretty long throat as well and shoots just fine. Newer No 1's seem to have much shorter throats. The one I have that I wish had a longer throat is my K1A .257 Roberts. It wont allow much over factory specs with 117gr bullets but here again, it shoots like a house afire so I dont care.
