NO.3 22 Hornet

This is a discussion on NO.3 22 Hornet within the Ruger Single-Shot forums, part of the Rifle & Shotgun Forum category; picked it up the other day at LGS....shoots great with iron sights....bought a set of mounts just haven't picked out a scope yet...

While I prefer the looks of the #1, I had a chance to handle a #3 for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I was very impressed with the handling and overall balance of the #3. As for the 22 hornet part, I shot my #1-B 22 Hornet this last weekend and it sweet beyond belief. You have the best of both worlds. Hope you can get some good lightweight glass to complete the package. A Leupold ultralight would look really really good up there
