Yes it will bring the weight down some, more important it will speed up your lock time and depending on what model # 1 you have just about stop your muzzle jump when shooting off a bench. If cost is a factor the hammer and spring cost about the same as the Moyers trigger and you may get more benefit from it, of course it's nice to have both the hammer and a good adjustable trigger.
