Yes, Ruger cataloged the 1V in 243 for a couple of years in the early 1980's.
They did not make many though in that period. Some estimates have been made that as few as 100 were produced, but it could be more or less, given Ruger's policy of not divulging produciton numbers. We have to make educated guesses based on how many are known, and how many others there may be out there.

Also made them in 6mm Rem and 6mm PPC
