Hi,
Newbie to the forum... Looking to do a wildcat conversion on a #1 Tropical and was trying to determine if anyone knew what different barrel diameters were used on the #1 Tropical Stainless models?

Is the 458 Lott/ Rigby version larger than the 405, 45/70, 450-400 and 375?

Would appreciate if someone could measure their muzzle OD and let me know what you have.

The outside diameter of my 416 RCM #1 at the muzzle measures .752, and I have no idea what the others may measure.

There is two barrel profiles for the Tropicals. The .458 cal ones are the larger I believe. the others, such as the .416's .405, .375, etc are the smaller profile.

Wish I did. A .458WM Tropical is one of just a few I foolishly passed over only to wish now I hadn't. No need for the chambering but that heavy barrel profile is just SO much a thing of beauty.
