| Caliber Popularity of #1
Greetings,
Since the factory will not release the numbers of produced rifles in the #1, I think it would be fun to have a poll of owners of what they now have. Only factory chambered guns could be counted. No doubt, the 45-70 would come in first place, but what about 2nd and 3rd???
It would take somebody (smarter than me) to set this up. Would you girls like to have a popularity poll of chamberings of the number one???

moondog911 | The factory does release the info, it is just about two years late due to trade secret/marketing proprietary info. Check this site.... ATF Online - Statistics |

moondog911,
A survey has been set up like that on the Ruger # 1 Group, It's an on going survey asking what calibers the members have in the # 1.
They have 25 caliber choices to chouse from, I won't go into all 25 calibers but your correct in saying that the 45-70 is number 1, they have over 1600 members in the group so they get a lot of responses. I'll list the top 5 calibers for those that are interested in such things:
1-45-70.
2-22-250.
3-7 MM Rem Mag.
4-30-06.
5-223 Rem.
The caliber getting the least number of votes was the 264 Win., only received 4 votes out of all the members on the site.
There's about a dozen other on going surveys on the site that members can vote in and the results are very interesting.

I've joined the Ruger # 1 Group but haven't been there much at all.
I'll have to check out the poll.
Mine is a 1A in .270 Win (this is a very popular calibre in AU).
