Between my brother, my dad, and I we own 7 No.1s, and you couldn't pay us enough to purchase any of the from us. They are one of the best shooting rifles made, as long as you know how to reload for them.

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures to post, but I have several: #1V 25/06, #1A 7x57, #1B 7mm Rem Mag, #1A 30/06, #1B 338 Mag, #1A 358 Norma (was 357 Mag), #1H 375 H&H, #1H 416 Rigby, #1S 45/70, and #1H 458 Win Mag. One of these days when I get my finances on track I would like to add 9.3x74R and 405 Win.

I also have #3s in 223, 30/40, 375 Win, and 45/70.

Best regards, BIGBOOMER

My Varminter

Here's mine. A .22/250 manufactured in February, 1980 and I bought it new. The scope is a Leupold 12X.

I noticed couple of you guys have both the browning 1885 and ruger #1. Other than the cocking handle and difference in hammers anything else different between the two rifles?
