Bullet jump in 257 Roberts

How much bullet jump do I use in my 257 Roberts? I'm seating my bullet .040 off the lands with a 120 gr. Nosler partition bullet in my Rger #1. It shoots minute of deer but would like to close the group size. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've found that my #1's prefer the bullet to be as far forward as possible to the maximum O.A.L. in the reloading specs to get my best accuracy. These are for my 1V's in .220 Swift, .204 Ruger, and a 1B in .218 Bee.
