Considering re-barreling a #1

My thoughts are of a 6.5x57R, 6.5x65, 7x57R, 7x65R. or something similar, perhaps a 25 Krag.

I am wanting to do a chambering for a rimmed cartridge, the above come to mind as choices.

I have an assortment of Ruger #1s in those calibers so there is no "need" just wants. IMO all of them do pretty much the same thing. So, I am looking for the "intangibles" - additional considerations, unintended consequences.

Who has experience with one or more of these cartridges? Care to share your thoughts and experiences?

Anything else I should consider, I am leaning towards the 57R case.

Thanks for your input.
