I had one of the Boddington 450 NE rifles. Too light -medium barrel, 8.5 lbs. Earlier this year I sent a 458 Win Mag Tropical to gunsmith Ed LaPour in Bremerton, WA (Ed LaPour Gunsmithing A Member of the ACGG since 1993), which he rechambered to 450 NE and added a Trop safety. I shoot bullets from 300 gr. to 480 gr., with M.E. from 3360 to 5115 f.p. and great accuracy. I have a 16 oz. mercury reducer in the stock, a Limbsaver pad, and a Leupold VX-HOG 1-4x scope. That's my rabbit gun. My squirrel gun is a stainless No. 1 in 416 Rigby. :)

As I have said in the past. you need at least a 4-Bore* for rabbits, though your 450 should be enough for squirrels.:D
