That is sweet. I guess it's worth the extra labor to eject empties. Might be nice to have two cylinders. All it takes in money, right?

hmmmm..... Beautiful gun, a couple things I notice as the owner of several such custom guns... the cylinder is longer... wonder if the forcing cone is into the frame thread area ??? or if the window was machined longer ??? ( ran into this a little on my 257 - Single 10 conversion ) pressure is a lot higher & the case head bigger... I don't know honestly, if the gun would last a lifetime with a diet of full house 327 loads ??? 32 H&R magnum maybe, but I don't think I'd want to shoot one only with 327's... that said, with practice ammo being lighter handloads or 32 H&R magnum & carry use only using 327, it might be a worth while gun to have ??? I guess if it were mine though, I'd treat it like, & expect the gun life, to be similar to shooting an alloy framed gun, just because of the Bearcat's small size, & the pressures generated by the 327... I'd expect it to shoot loose...

Looked at the pics a little better... the forcing cone is into the threaded frame ( weaker... how much so ??? but I did the same thing on my 257 conversion ) cylinder is bigger diameter, as is the one on my 257, we machined a few .001's off the bottom of the frame window, again a little weaker...

fit & finish look great, as well as a lot of style points for how they fit the octagon barrel, & finished off the gun... if it were mine, I think I'd have just left it as 32 H&R Magnum...

Although it is cool looking and an excellent project gun, I couldn't carry anything like that for defense against two legged vermin. If you were to have to use that, jeez the lawyers would make a veritable circus out of it in court. You would be a two headed monster before it was over with.

S&W already make 5 shot .357 magnum that does everything the wildcat does and then some, and you wouldn't be hung, drawn, and quartered in a court of law for defending yourself with it.

Ballistically it is stepping up to a 9mm but only a 5 shot? There comes a point where you begin to question the practicality of such an effort, although it is beautifully done.

I really like this little shooter. I'm a fan of the 327, have two. A couple things I liked about the video, figured it would be a handfull to hang on to, and it was. I also liked when the reviewer said he'd be afraid to ask what one would cost. Always heard if you had to ask the price, you couldn't afford it.

All that said, I'd still like to have one. I bet it would be a hoot with either standard 32 Long or 32 Mag rounds.

The best part of the video is, after seeing the recoil of those five shots, the totally deadpan delivery of the line, "Buffalo Bore likes to put a little powder in theirs."

Most awesome line ever spoken in a gun review. Jeff Quinn is the true "most interesting man in the world".

I would rather that Ruger brought back the Single six in 327 mag. they did produce it in 32 H&R so why not the 327.... I would buy one in a heart beat. May be with a 3.5 barrel and a Birdshead grip, that would be sweet!
I just think the Bearcat is far too light a frame for the 327 mag.

Well, if you want a new gun, Cabela's had a stack of .327 on their otherwise empty pistol ammo shelves.

I am too a fan of the .327 Fed Mag, there definitely is no shortage of the .327 yet . . . . I can get it all day long.

I for one enjoy the fact that I can find 327 mag to feed my SP101 unlike 2008/09 where you couldn't find ANY 32S&W/32H&R/327FED to save your soul! and all of the nay sayers that were/are talking smack about the 327 though most having never fired one. I for one really enjoy the little 327 magnum, its a real hoot the take to the range. and for milder practice you can run it with 32 S&W and it's like fireing a 22LR. I think the 327 is a very versital round with many positive features, from range plinker to trail kit gun to fire breathing self defense round. I really would like to see it available in the single six frame and in a levergun. now that would make a nice combo.

I've heard of Bearcats converted to 32 H&R--five shots. I'd think that'd be a little more durable. Me wants!

I've always said, I don't need a .32 anything as I have a .357 .... but that little package is way tempting . Shoot nice .32 H&R in it too.

Yes, I'd like to see Ruger bring back the 327 in the BH and the SP101. I happen to have both GP100 and BH in 327 and I love both guns.
