FF to now, I sent it back again, told them this story about missing the deer with the freshly repaired gun and how frustrating that was and how it has sat unused that long, and in the notes I put in there besides addressing the point of impact issue, to install a Super blackhawk hammer, and a birdshead grip frame if it was available, and offered to pay for the hammer and grip frame.
I spoke to one of their guys and the birdshead wasn't available so that was out of the question. Then when I called to check on the RMA, it had a new cylinder fitted to it since it wouldn't group with the original cylinder, it had proofed at the range and they were polishing it after installing a Bisley grip frame. I'm like huh??
So now, I just wonder if they are yanking my chain, you know making for a good surprise, and it's going to come back with a birds head, or if there is some explanation as to why they made a Bisley out of it. Either way, I guess is okay, I will be happy if it hits where I aim it.
Anyway sorry for steering the thread, wanted to answer scattershot's question.. I'll stfu now..
