A very nice pair of birdsheads, 218bee. Welcome to the "official" RFBOC. :)

Speaking of tools - I feel a lil like one for posting a 'non' Birdshead in a Birdshead thread

I have posted my Birdshead photo (Page 12, #171) and figured her Big Brother wanted a photo spread as well. :p

Would delete the post but it's already been 'quoted' a few times so I'll just be embarassed awhile . . .

Not a Ruger, but it is a Birdshead. Cimarron Lightning .38 :)

The Birdshead is my favorite SAA model. This is my first, Hopefully not my last.

That's real nice tcecil88! I'm real fond of my Uberti birdshead in 45 Colt. I appreciate the real case color frames on these replicas. The bluing is very nice too. And a great trigger right out of the box. Priced nice too. What's not to like! Thanks for sharing.

I'm glad Waveform posted as I seem to have missed tcecil88's post. That's one sweet revolver. I've been salivating over that same model for a while. I wanted to get a pair of those for my two daughters that are still living on the farm; ideal carry for working and bumming around the property. :)

Thanks, fellas. The frame size is smaller, closer to a J-Frame, and the bluing on the barrel and cylinder is the Charcoal blue finish. It is a very odd shade of blue but definately an eye catcher. I would like to get another Birdshead in .357 to have a "brace" of them and then get a nice leather rig to carry them both with this one carried crossdraw. Also a .38 Derringer for the vest pocket :)

Here's another picture thread worthy of a bump. To any who have not seen them here are 14 pages of some beautiful six shooters. :)
