| Differences in New Single Six Frames
I have 2 New Single Six Convertibles, a 5" stainless and a 4" blued model. I dont like the fat grip of the stainless model, so I decided to swap grips around and found something strange. I also have a Single Ten and the grips interchange back and forth with the stainless Single Six, but neither stainless guns grips fit the blued model, and vice-versa. The black poly grip is smaller, and the locator pin wont fit. IF you fit the locator pin in the grip hole, then the grip doesnt fit at the top. Trying to match the wood grip to the blue frame also doesnt work, because its too large. Has anyone tried this and have any answers? I know there were variations in the frames from years ago to now, but unless Im wrong, I think there are differences between these new frames.

No, the black one is smaller. When I held it in place on the stainless gun, there was more backstrap sticking up. The locator pin is close, maybe enlargening it would work, but the grip is still smaller than the wood grip.
