I have tried to quick order a super Black hawk hammer Thur the quick order

I checked the Manuel on the Ruger the # I get is MR04001B the ordering site

keeps telling me it is NOT a valid #..

I tried a # from an old new model BlackHawk manuel MRN-40-44S it didn't

work either..I couldn't phone as it is to late in the day. Does any one have a

valid#

Called ruger ther out of the hammers.

On Ruger's part numbers, an "0" is always a number, not a letter. Typing it as a capital "O" letter will make it invalid.

You cannot order all parts via their on-line site. I believe the manual says to call the appropriate service dept for parts. For the SBH, it's the NH location.

SBH stainless hammer: Ruger #: KMR04001B

SBH blue hammer: Ruger #: MR04001B

Both have been a bit on the hard-to-get side for a while now. Not sure, but at one time, hammers were one of the parts marked with an asterisk and not sold without being factory fitted. May have changed that policy.
Luckily I started to get a few extras hammers, triggers and other assorted parts a while ago before the availability started to dry up. Good luck.

Some of us graybeards with stiff fingers find them to be easier on our thumbs and put them on all of our Blackhawks. Mine came from Midway USA

I ordered 2 way back in December from Midway and received only 1 at the end of May. Now I see that they expect another shipment at the end of December. Bummer!

I got lucky when I ordered mine last year. Got two and put them in my new vaqueros for cowboy mounted shooting. They work very nice.

Ruger is using them on there 'TALO' Birdshead Vaquero .45 caliber too... I recon those and SBH's keep the supply low.
