Found a Blackhawk 200th year

Looks like a 7 1/2 barrel, great shape.

And on the top of the barrel it has 'Made in the 200th Year of American Liberty'.

Serial number 33-43xxx.

But the guy has no idea what it is worth and thus wants me to make an offer.

So how much, a reasonable amount, is it worth?

Thanks,

Deaf

Well so far I found only 3000 or so were made with sn's from 33-03883 to 33-46953 but no idea how much they are worth.

But at least the top price seems to be around $400 .

Thanks,

Deaf

I don't think that stamping significantly increases the value, unless someone is specifically after one of these Liberty guns to add to a collection. It's still a basic Blackhawk, otherwise. Plenty of used Blackhawks in our area gun stores for $350-400, so, I agree, try starting at $300

I really like the 200th stamped guns. It reminds me of when I was 18. Any Ruger Single action I ever buy is either going to be a 200th or a flatgate. I just like those two particular models, and I would pay as much as $50 extra for the right gun stamped 200th, the flatgatke I'd offer quite a bit more over the other three screw guns.

That serial spread would be closer to 43,000 units...
