Blackhawk scope mounts?

Anyone have experience with no drill scope mounts for a Blackhawk? My Single Ten has given me sing action fever in a big way. Put a Weigand scope mount and red dot on it, but the only thing Weigand makes for the Blackhawk is a drill and tap. Should I just bite the bullet and have any future Blackhawk drilled and tapped for scope use?

All of my handguns that are scoped have been drilled and tapped. Even the redhawks I jusrt like teh balance with the scope mounted over the cylinder.

I've been using the Weaver mount for 20+ years without problems.

I agree with rkrcpa. Weavers no drill mounts will work just fine for you. I have several and have never had a problem with them. Opticsplanet.com is a good place to look. The mount and rings are about $50 or $60. If they are on sale you may get free shipping. All kinds of firearm products from scopes to holsters. Check it out.

I had my Blackhawk D&T for the Leupold mount last year. I did this because my 9mm cylinder is now 357/44 Bain & Davis and I did not want it to come loose.

No regrets
