| New Single Ten
I mentioned in another thread that I'm currently awaiting the arrival of a 22/45 Lite which hopefully will be in this week. I was in my LGS today and heard my name being called. When I looked around lo & behold it was a new Single Ten asking me to take it home. Being a kind hearted person how could I refuse such a plea for help?
I adopted it and it's now a member of my family.

Seems the S-10 is hard to locate and she screams buy me when available. They are so tempting and when you get one, they're lots of fun (and cheap) to shoot.

You have made a great choice. Whenever I see a post about a ST I read it because I also have one, and I havent seen a negative comment yet about its performance. I have seen comments about the fiber optic sights, and the cylinder notches, but its just because people like to make a comment when the dont like something. Its a great revolver. Enjoy.

My plans for tomorrow consist of seeing how many round I can put through my Single 10 in an afternoon. I have 800 rounds and hope to use em up.

Love my S10! Swapped the f/o sights out for a standard Ruger rear & MkII front. Sweet-shooting, FUN little gun.

Has anyone else noticed that after 40 or 50 rounds of bulk federal ammo it get more difficult to get fresh rounds to slide into the cylinder of the S10?

I take a brass bore brush with me when I go shootin, and brush the cylinders every 100 rounds or so. Rimfire ammo is dirty, and the unjacketed bullet deposits lots of lead in each chamber, and thats why things get tight after a short while. Its perfectly normal.
