| Single Six with a dye job
How sacrilegious would it be to do the following: I've got a new Single Six in .32H&R, case colored frame with Birdshead grips. My gunsmith is going to shorten the barrel to 3 inches, make a couple of lightening cuts similar to DA Rugers, AND have it Cerakoted in Burnt Bronze with flat black for the cylinder. I plan to keep the black grips so they too will offset the burnt bronze.
Opinions?

Opinions? | Go for it... it's a new model, not like you are taking an unmolested, mint 3-screw and doing it |

Innovation requires going against tradition.
It's your gun and it's not historical. So don't sweat it.
Pictures will be required though. We like pictures here. |
