old style 44 mag super backhawk

I am beginning a search for one of these iconic pistols---and am wanting to begin to understand the "value ranges". I am not much experienced in pistol purchasing. Wanting this type of pistol for wilderness travel "in case".

"Value ranges" for the OM's can have a BIG range. All depends on condition and which variation it is and if it's been converted. Also, there's OM BH's that were in .44 mag as well, not just SBH's.
