Finally got a Ruger in 10mm Auto

I've been wanting for so long to get my hands on this.
Finally the planets aligned and another wish has been fulfilled.
Now I can't wait to get to the range!!

Below are a pair of same serial number Blackhawk "Buckeye" convertible revolvers.
They have the same frame with the buckeye engraved on the top strap.
The one on top is in 32 H&R Mag and 32-20 WCF.
The bottom one is in 10mm Auto and 38-40 WCF.

What? Were you expecting something different?
I did post this under single action...

Well, I'll say I was surprised when I saw the 10mm Auto in the title. I didn't know Ruger made ANYTHING in 10mm auto! Nice find BTW!

These were made in 1990 for Buckeye Sports out of Ohio.
Unfortunately they were only made for one year.

I wish I knew.
I don't believe it is ultra-rare because I see them pop up for sale often enough.
Every search I've done comes back with something like "very limited run", etc.
I'm thinking of giving Ruger a call; they have always been great and it can't hurt.

Nice little cannons you have there! 10mm in a SA wheel gun? Talk about a crossover... I like it!

Very beautiful SA revolvers! I never knew Ruger made anything factory in 10mm...what a find! Hope you enjoy them!!! Classic and rare guns are awesome!

I've been wanting to get a 10mm revolver...and have been considering having a 3" or 4" GP100 converted to 10mm/.40S&W...but they're sooooooooooo expensive!

Just learned about the Ruger Buckeye. 5,000 were run for Buckeye Sports Supply. So not really that rare, just desirable to the $700.00 price range in excellent to new in box with all papers etc. However, it is unlikely that they would EVER be worth less. If the 10mm is your interest chec our BREN-TEN.com. That is where I got the above info under the RUGER listing.

Thanks for the info!!
That page came up unavailable for me..
When I put 5000 as part of the search a bunch of references came up.
