| Gun Show Find
I've never been able to find one of these at the gun shows so was surprised when I walked into my local gun store this morning and found one just sitting there begging for a new owner. It's a Davidson Special Ruger Vaquero Convertible in .45LC/.45ACP still in the original wrappings. It doesn't look like it's ever been fired other than at the factory. Serial number dates it to 1999. And both cylinders measure .452 to .4525. Been wanting an excuse to hit the range so now I've got one.

Very nice! Let us know how it shoots, if you plan on shooting it.

A very nice find indeed. You certainly found one in the right caliber(s).

Gee, that sure looks familiar!!! I bought my 5 1/2" brand new in 2002 (S/N 58-467XX) for $395 ($425 OTD). Ruger only made 500 in the 5 1/2" shiny stainless 45 Convertible Vaqueros and even fewer in 4 5/8". My cylinders were both very tight .... about .448" but have been reamed to .4525". |

I am a firm believer that if you like it and you like the price, it is a great deal! Congrats on the new one!
