When you say "re-convert" do you mean:

a) The gun NOW has the transfer bar safety system installed and you want to convert it back to original?

or

b) The gun was converted to the transfer bar safety system then converted back to original and you NOW want it back to the transfer bar safety system?

BW, that's your opinion and your opinion only. To state it as if it were a law of the land is somewhat presumptuous.

You're entitled to your opinion, of course, as we all are. Mine is that anyone with a functioning brain can safely handle/manipulate/shoot an unconverted Old Model Ruger single-action, or any revolver of similar design. If one is not capable of such operational considerations he/she is a danger with a New Model or converted Old Model.

To convert or not to convert is up to one's own comfort level. I'll never criticize anyone for having this done. But I'll likewise not say it's either necessary or window dressing.

Safety is, indeed, between one's ears.

It is pretty easy, Pull out the set of parts you don't want in there and put in what you do..Proper Screwdriver and about 30min tops..the parts drop in...do it in the proper order and don't force anything in place.
