Sending my NEW Bisley .41 mag back!

Let me start off by saying I love the gun! I have wanted one of these for quite a long time and finally broke bad. It took about 3 seconds to see that the gun had a metal ding on the grip frame where it mates up (sharp place sticking up) and just up from that there is a small palce that looks like someone took a side grinder to it. I know I'm being really picky but it's brand new!! I don't think anyone ever looked at this gun prior to leaving Ruger... it would be a floor model marked down a few hundred dollars at best.

Which model? I have both a 5.5" s/s Bisley I bought new about 5 years ago & a SBH Bisley Hunter I bought new in January & both were/are flawless.

It's the SBH 7.5"... part of me says just deal with the flaws, it's a hunting weapon after all... But I really want it to be close to perfect from the factory.

Ruger will fix it and you are not being picky. Most would send it back. I am more so what about things like that.

My .357 Bisley SS was flawless but I cannot say the same for the .357 Vaquero SS I bought. The finish was terrible and looked like they used a hand grinder and didn't finish it out. Sent it back to Ruger and they made a futile attempt to get the deep gouges polished out. I know it's a gun and it will get scratches but just couldn't deal with it. Sold it after the return.

Very happy with the Bisley and overall very happy with Ruger. They make great guns of which I own several.
