6 1/2" for me. Very accurate & I like the heft & balance of a longer barrel. Would love to pick up one of the 7 1/2" Bisleys.

My cousin had one in 357 with about a 6" barrel that he could hit cattails from a long ways off, but I prefer his 45lc with the 4 5/8 am going back and forth Long Colt or 357 in 4 5/8. I have a Big Boy in 357 but its just so much fun to shoot the cowboy 45LC loads just not as practical.
Oh well nice problem to have maybe both

4 5/8" is my preference but as it ended up, all of mine are 6 1/2".

Maybe a moot point now. My LGS had a GP100 Match Champion in the used gun cabinet that followed me home. I probably won't be getting another revolver for a spell.

As far as what I use a revolver for... Mainly as a side arm for feral hogs. In the woods, I generally keep the sixth cylinder filled with a shot shell for snakes. Besides, I spend a lot of time with a Rossi M92 357, so I like a revolver in the same caliber.
