Oh yeah....it came in it's original box too!!!

The seller told me that this gun DOES NOT have a transfer bar system.

Curious about the instruction manual in the box though.

Could this gun be an UN-converted gun???

I guess I'll know when it gets here...

It's not the original manual, that's for sure. Wonder if Ruger furnishes such a manual these days when they fit a "safety conversion"? Could also be the guy just picked up this manual at a gun show or something.

I'm curious, too.

I'll let ya'll know for sure.........

If'n it's been converted, I'll UN-convert it with the parts I bought because she will be a keeper!

If'n it's already been UN-converted that's okay with me as long as it's back to it's "original configuration".

If'n it's NOT EVER BEEN converted, all the better!

It is a beauty , I just became re-addicted to single action, I have a SBH since I now have arthritis, it is a safe queen for when I pass on , to my son. Had a convertible when younger and like many of us, stupidly sold it. Now, I have a heritage rough rider and love the process all over again. good luck with yours.

Any true Ruger OM collector must have a 1963 .256 Hawkeye. Only took me 35 years to find one I could afford and still look new.

Hopefully it's original and never been converted. The older models had nice cylinder timing and the pawl never touched the cylinder during rotation.
