Once you get your .45, then you MUST have every caliber in EVERY barrel length. It's just the natural thing to do.

Great find let us know how it goes.

Boxes were so much simpler then.

Super nice. There are a number of those 6 inch .41s floating around that can be
picked up for a good price.

The only reason I don't own a .41 Magnum, is the $51 for a box of ammo.

Like those of you who reload for .44 Special, that is a non-issue.

Although NOT a 6"-er, I just saw this one go for $1,200.00
1969 Ruger Blackhawk 3 Screw 41 Magnum. 4 5/8" barrel, original configuration without transfer bar, original walnut grips, adjustable rear sight. Gun is in excellent condition with slight blemishes on the bottom of trigger guard, otherwise excellent.

Nuts???

Yeah, I'd say so.

RENE Price Guide would put that 4-5/8" gun at as much as $800 depending on variation . . . and that would be in "pristine" condition. A nice box would add $135.

The 6-1/2" ones list at $150 less. Any with factory original brass grip frames are well over $2k.

I paid $500 for my 4 5/8", no box, but old stags with it, that was a couple years ago.

Yer gonna love that .41 & may find you've jumped down a rabbit hole you hadn't intended, but that's half the fun. Very versatile & fun round & as previously mentioned, store-bought ammo is breath-takingly expensive, but if you roll yer own, it doesn't cost any more than any other round.

Maybe you could post some photos of that?

Wish I could. It had to go when pre-condition hospital bills came. Sadly I found out the new owner put on a 22 Hornet barrel. WTH !!
Here's an Internet photo. Push the plunger at the rear of the cylinder allowing it to rotate clockwise then drop a round into the barrel.
