Ruger New Single Six Shoot Left

Follow up to an older post. Gun was made 2013. Rarely shot. Came with rear sight adjusted a few clicks from full right. This was unacceptable to me so I sent it back to Ruger in 2016 after verifying with other shooters that it wasn't my shooting style. Shots were taken from rest at 7 yards went 6 inches left of bullseye.

Gun came back and was a year before I got to shoot it. Sight was centered and practice shots taken back at factory showing it was a few inches left at 15 yards. No mention if a rest was used.

Going to range last week, gun still shoots far left. Others there experienced same thing shooting gun.

Man, WTF. This was a $450 gun. I felt factory just was dismissive of this. Frankly I am stuck - I don't want to send it back and I don't want to sell it, especially knowing it has an issue.

Ruger did do quick turn around but whoever did the work was dismissive of the issue and probably attributed it to poor shooting.

Anyone know who I can contact at Ruger that isn't just a grunt? Basically I don't want to be dealing with this again and again. It's really a predicament - can't sell, and Ruger can't fix it.

Call them and send it back again, that's the only way they'll learn! I've sent one back twice. The 2nd time it was fixed.

Check and see if the front sight is on crooked.
Ive had 2 Rugers like that.

I also had one that had the dovetail groove milled in so crooked they took it back. @ 20 feet it was hitting 4 FEET left.

They are just pumping them out without shooting, let alone INSPECTING them.
Their quality control aint for crap, if not non existent anymore.

If all else fails. Go on their site and use the " email the CEO" deal. I had to talk to Mike Fifer on one mess I had. He took care of me ASAP.
I ended up with a better gun with no extra cost.

Good luck.

Follow up. Went back to range and used a rest ammo they had used back at factory CCI Mini mag and tried to replicate what they got on the paper target they sent me (at 15 yards 1 inch group about 2 inches left of bull) with read sight set to middle.

Basically all is okay. I can live with 2 inches left and can even say that's in the realm of human error - I am a recreational shooter.

They replaced the pawl when it was there and lock up and overall the gun felt tighter when returned. Perhaps this was a problem as before I guess it was sloppy.

Anyway - I really like this gun. I like Ruger products and am glad they stand behind them. I do feel however I should never have had to send it back.
