birdie 45 ACP

had these out today, 1st time for three of the four and as far as the birdshead goes all i can say is what the heck took me so long!!
As shown in a previous post i finally picked up this birdie in 45 ACP and let me tell you i think this is the right calibre for this package, i mean i was always worried about the small grip with large calibers and my large mitts but 45 ACP shoots very well and recoil is no issue which adds up to tons of fun in my book.
it handled well, looks great, and accuracy was very acceptable for a short barrel
this would carry well across the chest or on the hip i suppose

so i pat myself on the back on this one

The birdsheads are a slick looking package and a lot of fun. The 44 Mag and stout 45 Colt can be a bit uncomfortable for me but the 45ACP is just about right. Glad to hear you like yours (and that the sight blade stayed in place.....)
