This is one of my returns for a front sight problem, Bisley Stainless .45 Convertible. Ruger replaced the barrel and front sight, should of never got past QC but they do.

Looks like a really nice Bisley.
last time I had to send a single action in, it was six weeks before I saw it again.
Ten DAYs is fantastic.

I know of a case where a very nice Old Model Blackhawk was sent to Ruger for the "safety conversion" and was advised the gun was unsafe and unrepairable and would not be returned to the owner. He was allowed to select a similar model from current production as a replacement. It's absolute BS as far as I'm concerned, and the transaction had some irregularities that really hit my radar. Unfortunately the owner didn't fight the deal, and it's all said and done now . . . and somebody at Ruger got a really nice Old Model.

Unions and the current work force (under ~35) are the two biggest things killing big corps. these days. Its sad that Ruger cannot fire the worthless employees and replace them with people who take pride in their work. They loose so much money with repairs and replacements I dont know how they will stay in business
