Another OM 3-Screw picked up today - PHOTOS ADDED

This gun arrived at my gun dealer a day early so now she's safely at home with me:

Old Model 3-Screw Blackhawk (1970) blue .30 Carbine w/ 7-1/2” barrel - NO CONVERSION.

I left my gun dealer and drove straight out to the canyon where I ran 10 quick 110 grain FMJ rounds thru her.

Please understand that I have never fired a .30 Carbine handgun in my entire life so I wasn't real sure on what to expect.

MAN-OH-MAN - what a BLAST that was!!!

She was as loud as you folks have been saying she would be!

She hit and bounced an old spray paint can at about 30 yards offhand consistantly.

I can't wait for an after-dark session to try and capture the muzzle blast on camera!

This is the "keeper" .30 caliber!

I so informed you thusly about the noise; now if you do night shooting, don't forget welder's goggles.

Exactly.

You still need that Super Blackhawk.

And a .357 Flattop.

And a .41 Magnum.

Judging by the rate of accumulation, you must have one or two.

I should be picking this up mid next week:

I'll be attempting to fit my 1969 .22 magnum cylinder to it.

I want this 1972 gun to be my dedicated .22 magnum and my 1969 single-six 5-1/2" to be my dedicated .22 long rifle.

Pretty cool idea???
