Plus JB Books.

I never knew that some people though it was ok to carry 6 in old guns.
I never knew it wasn't ok, until I read it on the internets....

I just read something else I never knew, "You can't put the cylinder from another Ruger of the same make and caliber into a gun it wasn't hand fitted to at the Factory"...It must be true, I read it on the interwebs...
(I have done it quite a few times...even still, "It Can't Be Done".)

I do think you are in the minority. Not that I care what happens to you, you could hurt someone else, and we both know you will never change your mind on this.

Just at the range, I don't think it is that risky. But if you actually go into the world, I wouldn't.
LOL, "In the World", I carry an HK40 or a Smith Mod 38 AW....Most of my Rugers are limited to shooting on my property.

I've got two older Ruger BH's one in a .357, and the other in a .30 Carbine, and I've got two newer Ruger's one is a SBH .44Mag, and one in .22LR/.22WMR. I did action jobs on the two newer ones, and they are slick as grease, however the two older Ruger arms have never been touched other that fired, and they are the slickest firearms in my collection. I also have two Colt 3rd generation model Peacemakers, that are as slick as the two older Ruger arms. The two Colts have always been loaded with only 5 rounds, due to having been used in SASS, however the two older Ruger arms have been loaded with 6 rounds but only used as range guns. I've been shooting for over 60 years and never even came close to having an accident with any firearm, as my dear old Dad always used to say the best safety is the one betwixt your ears. Reckon I have to agree with him. to each his own.

Inventor of the .357 Magnum cartridge and the .44 Magnum cartridge. Was instrumental in the development of the pre-M27 .357 magnum revolver and the pre-M29 .44 magnum revolver by Smith & Wesson. Many other accomplishments as well!

Ah, just a little levity, I've heard of Elmer Keith.
Patron saint of big bore revolver shooters. And, he wore a cool hat.
Think I'll go read Sixguns now.

I also have a 12lb pull on my glocks for safety and had a saftey installed as I like a manual safety.I do not own 1911s as for me they are uncomfortable and I prefer a double action semiauto.

I won't own a converted Ruger single action. Most hunting situations can be resolved in 5 shots. Sometimes I carry my SBH to town in a shoulder rig and a big, baggy jacket for that secure feeling. Hammer down on an empty chamber for the last 44 years at our house.
Anyone who feels safer with a converted revolver is OK with me. Safety first!
